When consuming red meat and high cholesterol in the form of animal fat, blood cholesterol, and the fat level goes high. This causes the blood to thicken and becomes hard to pump. This causes much strain on the heart as well. By converting to veganism, the person can provide adequate oxygen circulation around the body by lowering cholesterol and fat levels. When consuming meat and high cholesterol meals, it was seen that that arterial function was impaired for several hours even after one meal. When consuming plant-based foods, the function of arteries becomes better. Blood becomes easy to flow due to arteries being more flexible and the diameter wider. Arterial flexibility is linked with plant-based foods, so eating more plants will make your arteries more flexible and blood flow easier.
