The Three-Story Bible, based on Youth for Christ's Three-Story discipleship program, encourages Christian teenagers to better understand how God's story overlaps with the story of their life and the lives of their friends, resulting in deeper fellowship with each other and with God. It's filled with 500 Connection Point Questions that inspire teens to read the Bible more closely and think about its application to their lives more carefully. Over 150 “Then & Now” features weave together the stories of young people today with Scripture in ways that equip teens to talk more openly about God and build deeper, more genuine relationships with each other. Relevant, thought-provoking, and interactive, theThree-Story Bible invites teens to discover where their stories and God's story intersect through relational discipleship and engagement. The New Living Translation breathes life into even the most difficult-to-understand Bible passages, but even more powerful are stories of how people's lives are changing as the words speak directly to their hearts.

The three religions proclaim that they are transmitting the Word of God. But can it be that Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad are impostors? Can it be that the Torah was not written by Moses but during the reign of King Josias centuries later? Can it be that the source of the New Testament is Paul and not Jesus? Why is there no chronology in the Quran? Are there two Muhammads and two Islams? Judaism, Christianity, and Islam preach hate and destruction, not love. The Quran (4.82) states, If the Quran was not of God, they would find in it many inconsistencies. This book will study the contradictions and errors of the sacred texts of the three religions to show that they are not from God. Did King David commit adultery and treason? Was King Solomon a dictator? Are the dietary laws for hygienic reasons or to prevent assimilation? Is circumcision from Egypt? Is the epic of Jesus built from Jewish prophecies carefully selected to show they got realized in Jesus? Who cancelled circumcision, the Shabbat, and food restrictions, Jesus or Paul? Did Jesus resurrect? Is the Quran from the angel Gabriel or a salad of the two other religions? Can Allah change His laws? Is Khadija, the first wife of Muhammad, the reason for the teachings of Islam against women? Why is the Muslim paradise so erotic? How did Muhammad resuscitate the pagan beliefs of the Arabs: the Kaaba, the Ramadan, etc.

THE POSTMAN ALWAYS RINGS TWICE: Cain's first novel - the subject of an obscenity trial in Boston and the inspiration for Camus's The Stranger - is the fever-pitched tale of a drifter who stumbles into a job, into an erotic obsession, and into a murder; MILDRED PIERCE: Mildred Pierce had gorgeous legs, a way with a skillet, and a bone-deep core of toughness and determination. She used those attributes to survive a divorce in 1940s America with two children and to claw her way out of poverty, becoming a successful businesswoman. But Mildred also had two weaknesses: a yen for shiftless men and an unreasoning devotion to her monstrous daughter. Out of these elements, Cain created a novel (later made into a film noir classic) of acute social observation and devastating emotional violence - and a heroine whose ambitions and sufferings are never less than recognizable; DOUBLE INDEMNITY: Tautly narrated and excruciatingly suspenseful, Double Indemnity gives us an X-ray view of guilt, of duplicity, and of the kind of obsessive, loveless love that devastates everything it touches. First published in 1935, this novel reaffirmed James M. Cain as a virtuoso of the roman noir.

All the Bible Is Based on Just Three Verses

All the Bible is based on just three verses of scripture found in Genesis 12:1-3. When one understands the role and content of these verses, and follows how they develop in the scriptures, a surprising simplicity is discovered in Gods Holy Word. Genesis 12:1-3 is the call of Abraham and Gods announcement of Christ and world redemption. The plan of redemption involves three primary promises: (1) a nation, (2) a land, and (3) a coming Blessing. From the land and the nation will come the Blessing, who is Jesus. These three promises become a simple outline that compresses the Bible into a comprehensible format. In the New Testament, Paul holds up Abraham as a model for how all people come to salvation. He combines the call and promises made to Abraham, along with Abraham's belief in that call recorded in Genesis 15:6, to make a compelling case that justification is based on faith. J.L. Hendricks has been a pastor for forty-five years. He and his wife Barbara have four married children and nine grandchildren who are all actively involved in the Lords work. Currently, pastor Hendricks is director of Israels Fullness, a ministry seeking to take the gospel to both Jews and Gentiles. In 1990 he co-founded a national Messianic fellowship. His efforts in taking the gospel to Jewish people became the foundation for the writing of this book.
