David Childress, popular author and star of the History Channel’s show Ancient Aliens, takes us on an incredible journey in search of the truth about (and science behind) the fantastic Biblical artifact known as the Ark of the Covenant. This object made by Moses at Mount Sinai—part wooden-metal box and part golden statue—had the power to create “lightning” to kill people, and also to fly and lead people through the wilderness. Featured in such popular movies as Raiders of the Lost Ark by Lucas and Spielberg, the Ark of the Covenant is probably the most mysterious object in the Old Testament—what was it? Was it an ancient electrical device? The Ark of the Covenant suddenly disappears from the Bible record and what happened to it is not mentioned. Was it hidden in the underground passages of King Solomon’s temple and later discovered by the Knights Templar? Was it taken through Egypt to Ethiopia as many Coptic Christians believe? Childress looks into hidden history, astonishing ancient technology, and a 3,000-year-old mystery that continues to fascinate millions of people today.

Offers compelling evidence that the Knights Templar may have taken the Ark of the Covenant to the British Isles • Presents scientific evidence affirming the powers attributed to the Ark • Traces the Ark and the Stones of Fire from Jerusalem to Jordan and finally to central England, where the Knights Templar hid them in the 14th century According to legend the Ark of the Covenant was an ornate golden chest that was both a means of communicating with God and a terrible weapon used against the enemies of the ancient Israelites. In order to use it the high priest had to wear a breastplate containing twelve sacred gemstones called the Stones of Fire. These objects were kept in the Great Temple of Jerusalem until they vanished following the Babylonian invasion in 597 B.C.E. At the ancient ruins of Petra in southern Jordan, Graham Phillips uncovered evidence that 13th-century Templars found the Ark and the Stones of Fire, and that they brought these treasures back to central England when they fled the persecution of French king Philip the Fair a century later. The author followed ciphered messages left by the Templars in church paintings, inscriptions, and stained glass windows to what may well be three of the Stones of Fire. When examined by Oxford University scientists these stones were found to possess odd physical properties that interfered with electronic equipment and produced a sphere of floating light similar to ball lightning. The Bible asserts that the Ark had the power to destroy armies and bring down the walls of cities. Now Graham Phillips provides scientific evidence that these claims may be true and offers compelling documentation that the Ark may be located in the English countryside, not far from the birthplace of William Shakespeare at Stratford-upon-Avon.

The Presence of the Ark of the Covenant was a holy and respected thing just as the Eucharistic Tabernacle is today. Both of these bring us the presence of God. The scriptures show us that Mary has become the new ark of the covenant and this work shows this connection. Mary is the Ark of the Lord, the Ark of the Covenant, 'The Ark' in various different symbolisms in the Bible. Both Luke and John directly relate Mary to the Ark, numerous other texts also bring out the beauty of this relationship. This book is basically a combination of two approaches to Scripture: the scholarly historical critical method (The Way of Truth) and the artistic historical intuitive method (The Way of Beauty). It is a theological exegesis and a poetic meditation; a scriptural science and a biblical art. A very complete understanding of Mary as the Ark is found in this book.

The wonder and glory of God's word can never be completely told in a man's life time. Every thing is new every day. And just as the manna we need to have this word every day to prove his doctrine and to hear it out of the word of God (John 17: 8) say's he gave his word to the men that the Father gave him and Jesus prayed for them that they will show God's glory to the world that they are one as he is one with the Father. Jesus said I have manifested thy name unto them and they have kept thy word and your Word is everlasting life and they are sanctified through thy truth I have kept them in thy name. The wonder and the glory inside the Ark of the Covenant will show the lawgiver, the manna and the tree of life. He gives us the witness of death and taxes and the resurrection of the just and the unjust. He tells us the wages of sin is death, and the gift of God is eternal life our debt is paid in full. The greatest mystery.( I Timothy 3:16 ) And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness; God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory (I John 1:2) For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, Comfort one another with these words this day could be the day in Jerusalem.

Bringing Back the Ark of the Covenant to His Church is a responsibility each Christian should undertake, especially for those working towards dining with the Lord at the Last Supper of the Lamb. The Ark of the Covenant as God's presence is the most precious blessing the Church can ever have. It's all about the Lord Jesus Christ being formed in our lives, for the Church to grow into His fullness. This is the only way His Church will manifest His presence. His manifest presence is a reality that His Remnant Church is living each day. Many who have broken into the Holy of Holies have tasted, seen, and heard the mysteries and secrets of the Lord God that have made them keep in there. The New Jerusalem is a Church that is being made by the Lord Himself. She must keep in His presence to be beautified.

Does the Ark of the Covenant, or what’s also known as the Ark of God, truly exist? Adventurer, writer, and treasure hunter, Chase Baker is about to find out, the hard way. Adventurer, Chase Baker is back in the thick of it. This time, he along with his sexy and adventuring archaeologist partner, Dr. Sarah Gibson, are entrusted by both a wealthy financier and an old English, Paris based Biblical scholar to unearth perhaps the greatest archaeological treasure of all time: The Ark of the Covenant. Or what’s also known as the Ark of God. An adventure that begins in the mean streets of hot downtown Cairo, then reaches downtown Paris, and that quickly leads to the disputed Biblical territories of Old Jerusalem, Chase and Sarah encounter bandits who know precisely what their mission is. To find the Ark of God and deliver it to government officials in the United States. But the ark is a force of unspeakable power. Any nation that has it in its possession is said to be undefeatable in time of war. It’s a somewhat familiar plot that was played out in Hollywood by Indiana Jones back when Chase was just a boy. But now that he’s a man, he realizes just how real the power of the ark truly is. Not only is Communist China on the hunt for the Ark, but so are radical Jihadists, bent on using its power to destroy western civilization. What the rugged adventurer will also discover, is that the Lost Ark of God is to be found in the most unlikely of places. Deep under Golgotha, or the hill where Jesus was crucified 2,000 years ago. Once he and Sarah gain entry to the tunnel, they will face several potentially deadly challenges and booby-traps that will not only test their skill as adventurers, but also their very belief in the power of God. What they are in for, is one terrifying journey that will leave readers begging for more. If you love gripping romance, adventure, non-stop action, occult and alternative history novels, the newest installment in the bestselling, Suspense Magazine Award winning thriller, Chase Baker and the Lost Ark of God, is definitely for you. For fans of Dan Brown, Clive Cussler, J. Robert Kennedy and more, comes an edge-of-your seat adventure from New York Times and USA Today bestselling Thriller and Shamus Award winning author, Vincent Zandri. Don't wait another minute. Scroll up and grab the latest episode in the bestselling Chase Baker action/romantic adventure series today: Chase Baker and the Lost Ark of God! What the critics are saying: "If you put Zandri and Dan Brown in a dark Cairo back alley, I'd put money on Zandri. He went to Cairo in the middle of the Arab Spring (against the explicit wishes of the U.S. State Department), gathered materials for the book while Tahrir Square rioted ... The Shroud Key is page-turning fun for popcorn munchers." --Ben Sobieck, CrimeFictionBook Blog "Zandri has brought back that wonderful ‘quest’ story ... THE SHROUD KEY is well worth every minute." --SUSPENSE MAGAZINE
