Years ago, Charles Martin cracked open his Bible and began wrestling with a few fundamental questions: What if every single word of Scripture is absolutely true and I can trust it? How do I respond? Something in me should change, but what? How? This book is the result of that exploration. In What If It’s True? Martin brings key moments from the life and ministry of Jesus to life through his descriptive, novelistic words. This unique book: Fosters a stronger appreciation, love, and respect for Jesus Covers topics including rejection, sexual sin, generational curses, and forgiveness Draws on Old and New Testament references as well as cultural background information Includes a prayer at the end of each chapter Martin shares key moments from his own journey as a disciple—and bondservant—of Christ and a mentor to others. My love is poison. His kiss is mine. “The first time he saw me I was shattered glass, and he was a shadow. If I had stayed, he would have just faded away.” It’s strange how easy it is to tell our stories to a stranger’s eyes. The truth about Connor Stratford and I had always been a sad tale. Over ten years of chasing, tears, lies, vows, and leaving. Two people who never loved each other at the same time, but couldn’t let each other go. Now here I was telling our story over drinks midday in an airport bar with my old diary clutched in my hand. Telling some version of our story, anyway. I left him once with no goodbye. Now I was returning home to give him what he needed to move on. “It’s important. It’s what you’re thinking.” I knew what his message meant, sent in the middle of the night after I woke from a fever dream. He was finally ready, and so was I. I just needed to finally give him the kiss he begged for. The one that meant goodbye.

In this book, the author has looked at and studied during his lifetime the many theories and beliefs of the creation of earth, our solar system, the universe, and everything in it--including all the organics, plants, animals, humans, extraterrestrials, spiritual, and other realms of existence. Included in this book are the studies of extraterrestrials that have been listed in five different categories and their influence on earth throughout history from the ancient past to the present day. The author speaks at length on the prevailing beliefs and theories of evolution, religious and ancient histories, and the ancient astronaut theorists. Included is a study of the laws of creation and life, which is truth and reality throughout the entire universe. He also speaks of the beliefs of other sects in the world today and throughout all of world history. He tells of the four different tragedies that happened in the world and our solar system in the last six thousand years--the who, how, why, and when of them. He lists the interpretations of history and prophecies that came to light and were reported in the 1950s and 1960s that seem to have been pretty much forgotten. He brings to light the misinterpretations and mistranslations of biblical history and the great many histories of the world, including the many histories of the Americas.

For as far back as I can remember, I have told stories. I can take nearly any situation or event and make a funny story of it. Life is too short to miss out on the fun part. Also for many years I have been writing articles and short stories for various newsletters, newspapers, and even national magazines; some paid but most for free. I enjoy writing to entertain, to inform, and to educate. I have a different view of the world than the average person and not afraid of sharing it. I have, for many years, wanted to write a book but thought that anything I would have to say would be out of date before I finished the book. And then one day, not too long ago, I had an epiphany life stories, humor, fun philosophy, and basic life lessons don't go out of date. So I wrote this book. The book is a collection of family stories, tall tales, a few reprints of previously published newspaper articles, a little fun philosophy, and a technical issue or two. Except for a very few of the stories, as noted in the stories, all are original works of mine. The contents are, as you will notice, printed and listed simply, alphabetically. I thought this random arrangement would minimize the potential for one to lose interest and fall asleep reading various versions of the same thing. My intent in writing this book was not just to make some extra cash, but to put down in writing, in a more permanent form, some of my life's experiences, crazy ideas, and a little technical correctness, for family, friends, and a few others to enjoy. Please enjoy.
