Though "Aaqeel" is the premiere and primary means by which God communicates the correctness and incorrectness of every aspect of Mankind's lives (since Adam and Eve), there are more Muslims who are virtually oblivious to it and thus neglect to give it the true recognition that it deserves or even practice it the way God means for it to be practiced. Those who abandon its use are highly condemned by God in The Qur'an who refers to them as "The worst of (moving) living creatures..." (Al-Anfal 8:22) The Aaqeel is the "sense" (common sense or six sense)that was given to all, regardless of race, nationality, geographic location, intelligence, religion and age (after discernment) etc. It is balanced, analytical and ultra precise in determinations and judgments. It works in association with the other five senses, which are subject to submission to it, but it (common sense) is no match for the free will of Mankind and though it may put up a fight, the "free will" has the ability to subdue it and all the other senses. The Aaqeel calculates most matters with the "twinkling of an eye" swiftness, and it is jam-packed with alarms (warning signals) for the purpose of securing or attempting to secure our best interest in a way that has survival written all over it. It is steadfast in its duties, and it doesn't lie. Using of one's Aaqeel (sense) with The Qur'an is paramount for maximum effectiveness in reaching the highest levels of obedience to, and understanding of God's (The Final Revelation). God sternly warns and condemns Mankind for neglecting to use their Aaqeel throughout The Qur'an and reveals how people and nations have fallen as a result. The Qur'an is truly the simplest reading of God's Revelations. It evolves with its reader in accordance with the reader's spiritual growth. By way of it, one is able to establish a unique and personal relationship with God, but it doesn't come without a price which is patience. I wrote the book because far too many of us are discarding our Aaqeel and replacing them external systems of determination that have the desires of man as their main system of support. Thus, we are failing as the last round of representative for our Lord. How important is the use of our Aaqeel? And they will say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence (naAAqilu), we would not have been among the dwellers of the blazing Fire!" (Al-Mulk 67:10) Muslims are more subject to that verse than non-Muslims, as it is in The Qur'an.

(Man is)Either a brother to you in faith, or equivalent to you in creation. Th is phrase best describes how Islam looks at humanity. It is the basic notion in this work, written by Imam Ali, at the beginning of Islam. Islam is wrongfully portrayed by the unlawful actions of certain fanatics as a doctrine of hatred and enmity towards its adversaries, especially since 9/11, 2001. Th is work is an attempt to show the bright and civilized face of Islam, as a complete way of life, stressing that man has the right to live in dignity and freedom. Th e two main pillars in Islam as a divine faith revealed to Prophet Mohammad, are: belief in Allah, and doing good deeds. Th is work is a study of a treatise written by Ali ben Abi Talib on governance. Imam Ali, the most faithful disciple of P. Mohammad, his cousin and son in law, became the fourth Caliph in the state of Islam, 24 years after the death of the Prophet. During his rule, he wrote this treatise, which covers all aspects of administration, description of various civil and security establishments designed to serve the daily needs of people, and qualifi cations of the personnel employed. Besides that, the document stresses the basic rights of humanity in freedom and democracy, and encourages the pursuit of knowledge. Ali gave that document to one of his companions, whom he appointed governor of Egypt, to follow its detailed instructions in his assignment as a servant of the people.

The Arab Spring heralded a profound shift in the Middle East, bringing to power Islamist movements which had previously been operating in the shadows. The Muslim Brotherhood stormed to victory in Egypt and emerged as a key player in Libya’s nascent political arena. Meanwhile, An-Nahda found itself catapulted into power as the head of Tunisia’s coalition government. For a while, it looked as though the region was entering the dawn of a new Islamist age. But navigating their respective countries through difficult and painful transitions ultimately proved too challenging for these forces, and, just as suddenly, the Brotherhood was dramatically overthrown in Egypt and left severely weakened in Libya. In Tunisia, An-Nahda managed to pull itself through the crisis, but its failure to articulate and deliver the hopes and aspirations of a large section of Tunisian society damaged its credibility. In this authoritative account, Alison Pargeter expertly charts the Islamists’ ascent and subsequent fall from power. Based on extensive research and interviews with high ranking members of the Brotherhood and An-Nahda, Pargeter offers a comparative analysis of the movement in North Africa since the Arab Spring, and outlines the consequences of the Brotherhood’s decline on both the region and the wider Islamist political project.
