Life is sharper when it's lived on the edge. Experiences are hyper-real and memories are keen and adrenalinecharged. This collection chronicles the photographs of Renaissance man Hubertus von Hohenlohe. Von Hohenlohe is not just content with the status quo. Renowned for his sporting prowess as an awardwinning skier, and admired for his physical courage and dashing personal style, this jet-setting trendsetter has a bold vision that is clear yet challenging. Echoing the statements of his friend and mentor, Andy Warhol, von Hohenlohe's work is modern and visionary.

AGENDA occupies the territory between a monograph, diary, and a collection of essays, interviews, and conversations, produced by JDS Architects with a wide range of contributors and collaborators. Starting from the belief that an agenda is not simply an expression of individual intentions, but rather a vector for the production of new realities, AGENDA addresses the need for architecture to transform itself in an era of ecological and economic crisis. Change, the buzzword of the last U.S. presidential campaign, is indeed the order of the day, and AGENDA explores exactly what kind of change will be needed if architects are to assume a political and social agency in this new landscape. The book seeks to define not only the work of JDS Architects, but also the challenges and situations confronting young architectural practices emerging at a time of crisis. An ambitious attempt to describe the conditions within which architecture is produced today.

"In her earlier volume of selections from her diaries, the Princess of Pless was mainly concerned to present a picture of social and political life in the highest European circles in pre-war Europe, and to give an inside account of life in Germany through the Great War: the remarkable success of her unique and vivid volume resulted in a very wide demand for a successor in which the authoress might reveal something more of a personality that seems to have proved almost as winning and attracive in the pages of a book, as it is in life. Scores of reviewers, and hundreds of letter writers, have begged the Princess to publish another book that would tell them "something more about herself": the present volume is the result."--Page [} vii.
