Why do we read the Psalms? We read them because we find comfort in them. We identify ourselves with the ups and downs of the writer, his feelings and emotions. It shows his fears when he writes: "though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death" and our fear becomes one with his. The theologian reads them because of their prophetic and Messianic teachings. But do we ever read them because they teach us how we relate to God? See how the Psalms teach us what a person in a right relationship with God does in his relationship with Him. Experience a thrilling, growing, and often convicting journey in God while being richly blessed as you learn what it means: "He establishes the work of our hands" and see the Apostle Paul's example. "We know that your times are in God's hands" and see how God created time for our salvation and why He determines our days. "We consider all precepts right" and see the problems of the pick-and-choose theology. "We are devoted to God" and see how we're little burning bushes walking the streets of this world. "We trust in God" and see how little we really do ... and much more.

Girl Please! God Got This There is No Need to Worry Deuteronomy 20:4 For the Lord your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you. In everything that we do and everything that we face, we have to understand that God is in it with us. His word tells us that He will never leave us no forsake us. However there is so many times that when we are facing issues, and fighting against so much that it feels like God as left us. Let's be real, I have been there time and time again, and I call myself a woman of God. I have gone through so much heartache and pain. But guess what, the key word is through. I have gone through. I'm not there anymore. I am here able to write about overcoming because I made it through. God didn't leave me in the fight by myself, my enemy didn't overtake me. I didn't kill myself, why because God went in with me and He fought against my enemies. I'm telling you there is no way that I could have made it through all that I have without god on my side. His word tells us the Lord your God is he that goeth with you. I want to focus on the word He. He is in the fight with you, His word didn't say that He sent angels in battle with you to declare your victorious, it didn't say that you will have many people walk by your side that will guide you through your issues and cover you in prayer, it says He goes with you. Anytime that you feel like you are in a battle by yourself, anytime you feel like you are struggling on your own, know that God is right there with you. His Strength, His peach, His authority is what gives us the ability to overcome so many of our issues. To know that you have God on your side is the greatest feeling of all. Just at that very moment when you felt defeated and you want to throw in the towel just remember that God is in the fight with you. The scripture also says that He is there to fight against your enemies to save you. Meaning to me, if I just make up my mind that I am going to beat this battle, god is going to fight it for me. I 'm not going to even have to fight because it doesn't say He will help me fight. It says to fight for you against your enemies. We don't have to lift a finger. Just know that God is there to fight for us.

When did we start referring our brothers and sisters to the world for counseling? When did Christian counselors stop believing that His Word had everything we need for life and godliness? When did they start going to the world for their guidance and approved methodology for counseling? Psychiatry and psychology have consistently asserted that people should be “salvaged” from the chains of religious upbringing and moral restraint. However, studies show positive moral and emotional benefits for those with religious faith. Churches and parishioners taking back control of their religions from psychiatry and psychology will accomplish the return to a morally and spiritually strong society. This is a very practical book not only for lay leaders and pastoral counselors, but for every Christian who desires to help their brethren who has suffered under the hands of secular psychology and psychiatric drug addiction.
