Have you ever in your life felt stuck? I certainly have, more than once. Sometimes it is fear, at other times it is the inertia that stops us from moving forward. I've experienced both. Fear kept me stuck for years in the past. I've overcome it and got out of the rut I got myself into. However, we are never quite "safe" if I can use this word. Inertia is even more addictive than fear. If you have been feeling like change is long overdue then this journal is for you. To begin with, we first need to become aware of what needs changing. Often, many areas need an upgrade. I would start with self-care. Have we been neglecting ourselves? Are we eating healthily, exercising, sleeping well? And the other factor is overcoming inertia. This means getting organised, becoming disciplined. Setting goals for the month and following through with then. Writing down what needs doing every day and doing it. Don't overstretch yourself. Focus on one main task per day, at least to start with. There may be many things that need doing. Let's call them chores. By one big task, I mean something that will help you move forward. A step towards a big goal you've set for yourself. For example, you could have decided to learn how to make videos. Or write books. Or deal with debt. Do one thing each day that will help you reach your goal. Consistency is the most important thing since it helps us develop a habit. As for changing your life, deal with one thing at a time until you've made sufficient progress. Then add another. It makes things manageable and gives us a sense of achievement. I hope that by the end of the year you will have a lot to be proud of!
