This is a very well presented 1888 copy of the Great Controversy. This has been styled and formatted to be easy to read and not on newsprint paper. Ellen Gould White was a prolific author and an American Christian pioneer. She, along with other Sabbatarian Adventist leaders, formed what is now known as the Seventh-day Adventist Church. White was considered a somewhat controversial fi gure. Her reports of visionary experiences and use of other sources in her writings comprise much of the controversy. Her writings covered creationism, agriculture, theology, evangelism, Christian lifestyle, education and health. During her lifetime she wrote more than 5,000 periodical articles and 40 books. Some of her most famous books include The Desire of Ages, The Great Controversy and Steps to Christ. This work, originally published in 1888, on the great contraversy between Jesus and Satan, The Great Controversy, has also been published under the title The Triumph of God's Love.

When Angels Cry

The Loud Cry of the Fourth Angel

This book culminates years of study and research by its writer, Robert Wright. While still a child, Robert, intrigued by discussions held by his parents and family friends as they celebrated the Sabbath hours on Friday evenings and Saturdays, developed a love for Bible prophecy and history. Educated in both public and private Christian schools, Robert has a Masters degree in Educational Psychology. Of his many interests, Bible prophecy is his passion. In this book, the writer examines Seventh-day Adventists beliefs concerning Babylon the Great. He addresses the issues head-on, challenging traditional views, providing alternative perspectives, yet leaving in tact the essential truths espoused by the church regarding the Papacy. The symbols of Revelation 12, 17, and 18 are re-examined as the writer presents evidence that suggests Babylon the Great does not symbolize the Papacy as traditionally taught. This book offers a bible-based defense of what Babylon symbolizes. Most importantly, this book encourages the reader to rely on the Bible as its own expositor, the only source upon which to establish faith as it introduces compelling insights regarding the message of the angel of Revelation 18. The message of this angel, the fourth angel's message, accompanied by the outpouring of the Latter Rain, represents God's final warning to the inhabitants of a planet destined for destruction. Yet at the same time, the message offers hope, a means of escape for all people that heed the Divine invitation to come out of Babylon. Lucifer - How Art Thou Fallen?

This compilation from the Spirit of Prophecy (the writings of Ellen G. White) covers the history of Lucifer from his creation to his fall, thru his warfare on earth, down to his final destruction. The purpose of this book is not to exalt Satan, but rather to show his character works, and methods as he wars against God, Christ, and the Church. As the Apostle Paul warned, "Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices" (2 Corinthians 2:11), we are vulnerable in our ignorance. God's people need to be aware of the serpent's cunning, so as not to fall under his power and influence. That knowledge alone, however, will not keep us safe. We must "Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." (Ephesians 6:11) The tremendous amount of material on this subject presented a challenge in compiling that which could tell the high points of the history, provide the best possible lessons and warnings for God's people, extend hope and encouragement for these last days (when Satan and his hosts are making "war with the remnant"), while keeping it within the confines of the cover of this small volume. Our hope and prayer is that we have succeeded in this challenge, presenting the reader with a priceless aid in preparation for earth's final conflict, as well as the day-to-day trials and struggles with the powers of darkness. The Lord be magnified!
