“The Book of Revelation: A New Beginning” contains the hidden secrets of Saint John’s Revelation, and as you know, it is one of the most debated and most difficult books of all the scriptures to read and understand because of the extreme symbolism tied to it. Man has always assumed the word of God’s prophets and their stories were indisputable just because of their eminence in interpreted them as being true. Man has forgotten the history of himself, Earth, God, the origin of the universe, and how the scriptures have been documented, interpreted, and strictly passed down by our ancestors and religious leaders. As symbolic as Revelation is it has nothing to do with the end days or even about a solitary Anti-Christ as we understand it nor is it about Jesus coming to save you. In truth, Saint John’s Revelation is your own guide showing you that you no longer need to look at yourself as a sinner because you have bared your cross, like Jesus, and now the time has come for you to ascend to a higher state of Mind. The book of Revelation: “A New Beginning” is a book that will help open the gates of your soul memories so you can become aware of your own divineness, and that you are a God too. My fellow Gods, what is coming to an end is the old ways of perceiving and understanding God. It is not that God is a mystery. It is you that is the mystery, and when fear is resolved within, you are then ready to open up to the hidden secrets behind the Book of Revelation that religions have kept as a secret for thousands of years, either on purpose or because of ignorance.

This book brings into harmony the practical truths and Biblical truths in order to dispel dangerous deceptions and distortions. We can discover our purpose and potential to fulfill our destiny. Revealed are opportunities to realize and apply transforming information essential to making wise decisions. You will be empowered with keys to unlock your personal success and endless treasures. I think you will find this book enlightening, thought provoking, and well documented in the authority of scripture. The truth revealed in the coming pages is the result of many questions I had years ago. Finding there were no common or consistent answers to them, I went to my Creator, the source of truth. In God’s word, I have found many amazing and consistent insights that have stood the test of time. Over the years, I have found these answers and insights have not only given me peace of mind, but have also enabled me to see many miraculous things. I believe the information contained in this book will be interesting, relevant, and useful to at least four types of people. To the Skeptic: The honest doubter can see how the Bible has logical and reasonable answers to the problems in our world. It reveals the causes and effects we see all around us, as well as the reasonable conclusions, we often don’t see in time. (Galatians 6:7) To the Truth Seeker: You may be looking at all the different religions of the world with their isolated and disconnected ideas that promote contradictions. It is important to know how to test them to find out if they have true lasting treasure or are just an illusion that temporarily makes you feel good. (John 8:32) To the Believer: It gives a foundation for our belief, connecting the facts between the origins of Genesis 1 to the destiny of Revelation 22. By examining the details and illustrating the sequences of events, we can see and understand how redemption works, as well as the many benefits available. (Acts 1:8) To the Spiritual Leader: It encourages and challenges us with truth, exposing the Deceivers’ strategy. It gives Biblical insight to the mysteries and questions of life. It helps us to envision our future rewards, reflect on our present position, and take a closer look at our past traditions and assumptions in the light of our ultimate authority, the Word of God. Sets of seven. 666. The Whore of Babylon and the Seven-headed Beast. How would first-century readers have heard these things? One can get at an answer by asking, How does the Book of Revelation compare with contemporaneous Jewish apocalypses? God's Timetable unlocks the hitherto unseen Jewish background to the Apocalypse based on the seven weeks leading up to Pentecost, the Harvest Feast. The meaning of Revelation suddenly becomes clearer. Stramara situates the Book of Revelation in its original context as a prophetic work regarding the end of the world, the final harvest, and Jesus as the fulfillment of expectations.

As her journey progressed, God and his angels taught Laura the secrets to the Book of Revelation. They revealed that this sacred Scripture is not a book of doom and gloom, but simply describes in symbolic language the stages of metamorphosis that will occur on the planet as the souls of humanity are aligned with the divine spirit. Laura's own metamorphosis led her into the arms of true love as she and her soul mate were united. She reveals how the forces of the Holy Trinity become active in two souls as they become bonded by Divine Love. Laura has recorded her journey and the messages that the Divine Spirit imparted to her in the hopes that they will inspire others to search for truth and love in their own lives.

David Hope is the leader of the Catholic wing of the Church of England. He is the son of a builder from Wakefield, Yorkshire who was appointed to the highest office in the Church of England because of his profound spiritual authority ( he is a man of great personal holiness) and because of his practical commonsense approach to day-to-day problems in the Church. Underneath the charm, the humour and the holiness is a very tough down-to-earth Yorkshireman. These great qualities are exemplified in this new collection of Hope`s sermons and addresses. Whether he is addressing the congregation of a fashionable Episcopal Church in New York, or a conference of tough-minded business men at the Institute of Management his ability to touch the hearts and minds of his audience is outstanding. `Within the space of one week`, writes David Hope `I can find myself at the Great Yorkshire Show, at the York Races, addressing a group of business executives on the subject of business ethics, presenting awards to apprentices on an engineering course and visiting the classes in a primary school in a deprived urban area`. It is the application of the Catholic gospel to such a variety of circumstances and people`s lives that has made David Hope the outstanding Christian leader that he is. At all times, he points the way to existential openness and to transcendence. His qualities are evident for all to read in this compelling new book.

Noir Urbanisms

Dystopic Images of the Modern City

Dystopic imagery has figured prominently in modern depictions of the urban landscape. The city is often portrayed as a terrifying world of darkness, crisis, and catastrophe. Noir Urbanisms traces the history of the modern city through its critical representations in art, cinema, print journalism, literature, sociology, and architecture. It focuses on visual forms of dystopic representation--because the history of the modern city is inseparable from the production and circulation of images--and examines their strengths and limits as urban criticism. Contributors explore dystopic images of the modern city in Germany, Mexico, Japan, India, South Africa, China, and the United States. Their topics include Weimar representations of urban dystopia in Fritz Lang's 1927 film Metropolis; 1960s modernist architecture in Mexico City; Hollywood film noir of the 1940s and 1950s; the recurring fictional destruction of Tokyo in postwar Japan's sci-fi doom culture; the urban fringe in Bombay cinema; fictional explorations of urban dystopia in postapartheid Johannesburg; and Delhi's out-of-control and media-saturated urbanism in the 1980s and 1990s. What emerges in Noir Urbanisms is the unsettling and disorienting alchemy between dark representations and the modern urban experience. In addition to the editor, the contributors are David R. Ambaras, James Donald, Rubén Gallo, Anton Kaes, Ranjani Mazumdar, Jennifer Robinson, Mark Shiel, Ravi Sundaram, William M. Tsutsui, and Li Zhang.

From the temple of God to God as the temple

a biblical theological study of the temple in the book of Revelation

The term naos is found thirteen times in the Apocalypse, indicating the significant place it occupies within the book. To date, no complete study of the theme of the temple in this Book exists. Taking into consideration the scholarly contributions that have been made by those studying the book or the theme of the temple in the New Testament, the present work proposes an analysis of the verses containing the term naos in view of establishing John the Seer's use of temple imagery to speak of the Church. The study concludes by presenting the temple theology of the Book of Revelation including a comparison with the texts of the Old Testament, Jewish intertestamental literature and the New Testament with particular regard to the Fourth Gospel. Andrea Spatafora, 1958, made profession in the Congregation of the Missionaries of the Holy Family and was ordained a priest in 1983. Completing a licentiate in Sacred Scripture at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in 1992, he obtained a doctorate in Biblical Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University in 1997.

Reclaiming the Book of Revelation

A Suggestion of New Readings in the Local Church

Progressive Christians have largely resisted studying the book of Revelation, but "Reclaiming the Book of Revelation" shows that the last book of the Bible has great relevance for progressive Christians and congregations in this world. It addresses themes such as how to avoid being drawn into the values of a consumerist society, how to describe our fears instead of fleeing from them, and how to live with hope in difficult times. Because Revelation has been claimed by the -religious right- and proponents of rapture theology, Wilfried E. Glabach addresses the need for more progressive Christians to give another interpretation of the book. "Reclaiming the Book of Revelation" offers an interpretation that stresses God's forgiveness and the -healing of the nations- rather than the destruction of many and the redemption of a few. Dr. Glabach motivates and encourages preachers, teachers, and lay readers to explore Revelation's vision of assurance, justice, and peace."

This in-depth treatise presents conclusive evidence for an extremely close relationship between ancient Egyptian religious beliefs and the Book of Revelation. Practically all characters, scenes and series of scenes found in Revelation have parallels in mainstream Egyptian sources, including the Book of the Dead, the Amduat, Book of Gates, Book of Aker, Books of the Heavens and others. Parallel characters include Egypt's Apophis as Revelation's Satan while situations and activities in scenes include the judgment scene and singers by a lake of fire. Parallel sequences of scenes include those found in the 2nd to 12th Divisions of the Book of Gates and most of Revelation's Chapters 15-21. Allusions to the Book of Dead are common. Finally, a key conclusion: the entire structure of the Book of Revelation can be accounted for in the organization of text and paintings on the walls and ceilings of the tomb of Ramesses VI in Egypt's Valley of the Kings. Authoritative, bold and different. The final word on prophecy. Written in everyday language. It's not often that a book comes along that causes you to reexamine everything that you have ever learned on a particular subject. In a manner reminiscent of The Prayer of Jabez and The Purpose Driven Live, The Kingdom of the Beast takes you on a journey of enlightenment that will leave you satisfied that you finally understood what the end time prophecies are all about. There are no magic formulas for interpreting the prophecies other than accepting what is written. This book convincingly, and scripturally, moves the reader beyond some of the traditional man made ideas that have confused the Church and kept it from coming to a unified understanding of the prophecies, and then opens things up witha down to earth simplicity.

The New Jerusalem in the Book of Revelation

A Study of Revelation 21-22 in the Light of Its Background in Jewish Tradition

Author: Pilchan Lee

There is a development between expectation for the rebuilding of the New Jerusalem/Temple in the Old Testament and the coming of the New Jerusalem/Temple in Revelation. In Revelation, there is a dynamic relation between the New Jerusalem and the Heavenly Jerusalem: the New Jerusalem is the descent of the Heavenly Jerusalem. Moreover, there is no Temple building which was expected as the eschatological promise in the Old Testament but rather God and the Lamb is the Temple. How can this shift be explained? Pilchan Lee examines the exegetical tradition which existed between the Old Testament and Revelation. He assumes that as the exegetical tradition, the early Jewish (apocalyptic) literature functions as a key element for forming the idea of the New Jerusalem in Revelation. John's main argument is that the church (which is symbolized by several images) is placed in heaven now (chapters 4-20) and the church (which is symbolized by the New Jerusalem) will descend to the earth from heaven in the future (21-22).
