In 1996, Craig Wilson began writing a column for USA Today called “The Final Word.” In it, he extolled the virtues of the true pleasures in life—clotheslines, freshly cut firewood, sweet corn, and Adirondack chairs—and looked back on his childhood in the country with fondness and an infectious sense of humor. Wilson’s message struck a nerve, and now he receives hundreds of letters and e-mails each week from readers who share his sense of nostalgia and appreciate his warm, thoughtful observations on daily life. It’s the Little Things... showcases the best of “The Final Word,” with the pieces arranged by season. In fall, for example, Wilson remembers his mom’s Thanksgiving gravy and his crush on his first-grade teacher; in winter, he holds forth on aluminum Christmas trees and the kiddie table; in spring, he writes about the joys of walking to work and puttering in the garage; and in summer, his thoughts turn to white bucks, front porches, and outdoor showers. The result is a delightful book to share with others and to relish throughout the year. From the Trade Paperback edition.

They've loved each other since childhood. Marriage has always been their destiny. But lately they've lost a fragile balance between them. Now he's given himself a deadline to win her back or lose her forever. They've been soulmates, best friends, and sweethearts since they were kids living next door to each other. Twenty years. Everyone in Cordial Creek, Vermont expects thirty-year-old Sam, an architect, and twenty-eight-year-old Megan, a paralegal, to tie the knot. They were about to do that until the untimely death of Sam's dad two years ago devastated Sam and settled him even deeper into the small town he loves. He threw himself into his construction company and took on new responsibilities as his mother's shoulder-to-lean-on. Megan adores him but is struggling with the changes in their relationship--and with some doubts about herself that she can't quite identify. One small, reckless mistake on her part--a silly ploy to shake Sam out of his doldrums--explodes into a painful turning point. He sets out to remind her of all the special bonds they share and why they're perfect together. If the memories don't solve Megan's crisis, all the little things that they love about each other may not be enough to keep them together. Heidi Sprouse writes romances about ordinary men who become extraordinary through their actions and the women who love them. She lives in historic Johnstown, a small upstate New York town on the fringe of the Adirondacks, with her husband, Jim, and son, Patrick. This book is a compilation of original poetry and photographs and is the culmination of a dream that started many years ago. Since childhood I have written greeting cards and personalized poetry for friends and family, but it has always been my goal to reach a larger audience and touch people with what I've written and maybe teach a little about human nature in the process. I've found that lessons can be learned every day from nature and the people around us, though sometimes we don't take the time to stop and see or hear what is being conveyed. It's the grand things in life that often grab our attention and take up our time, but I hope the poems within the pages of my book will help you see that "It's the Little Things That Matter."

This book is going to share with you how to see the world in HAPPY LIGHT. It is about how to always seeing the BRIGHT side of things, for example we need to lose something in order to learn, but as long as we are safe and HAPPY, we can always get it back and more! WHY DO WE NEED TO SEE THE WORLD AS HAPPY? There are people who incurred huge financial debts and when they learned to get out of the debts, they became millionaires and more! The solution they found actually helped them to increase their capacity to have more, even though the initial hardships caused them tremendous pain and suffering. Being HAPPY doesn't mean suppressing your other emotions, it is letting out that, thus by not holding onto the past, you are free to pursue your DREAMS! Why do we always believe that Others are better in this and that, rather accepting that we are all unique and different. We may sing, dance, write better than others, thus there is division of labour where each individual has the choice to choose what you enjoy doing and exchange these "goods" and "services" with others. Goods are known as Goods simply it feels GOOD to US! (Do you want to buy BADS? Hahaha) The other way to see things in a HAPPY WAY is simply accepting that we allow things to unfold in its own timing, like a flower will bloom in spring and wither in autumn. For me, based in Singapore, where it is SUMMER all year round, since I am living on the tropical climate of the Equator that receives lots and lots of Sunshine, I would travel out of Singapore to experience the four seasons! That was the reason that captivated me to stay in UK, where I was based in Manchester, Cambridge and Glasgow. After staying in UK, I realised I missed Sunshine a lot, so it is good to be back! As such, one can always change as we discover what we enjoy and it can remain HAPPY as long as we see the bright side of thing. I love the cold and cloudy "gloomy" like weather because I can sleep lots, stay indoor to read and of course drink lots of HOT Tea that I constantly put on the hot water boiler in my room. And yes room temperature (20 degrees celsius) COKE taste warm and yummy in cold snowy winter (-3 degrees celsius). In a nutshell, we see the world as HAPPY to keep us positive and enthusiastic and appreciate our life for what it is. Only then, can we bring joy and love to those around.
